Do they still use film projectors in schools, or have they moved on to VHS?

I just learned today what the definition of a Greek chorus was.

There’s someone I’ve decided I don’t much like.  I mean, this person is okay, but they’re quite inhibited and tightly wound.  And while they may show flashes of personality, I don’t get what their core issue is.  As it is, I have to spend quite a bit of time with this person.  But they are overall bearable, if not a bit sad.

The roommate hunt is slowly trudging along.  There are two leads thus far.  I thought I’d have much more to choose from, but it’s early yet.  Still, this is the type of thing I’d like to get squared away asap, ya know?

The deed is done, and the new roommate ad is posted.  J Co will be moving out with her man at the end of the month marking an end to an era at Casa Fiesta.

I first met J Co back in 2000 when she was roomming with Mr. Alterhausen in South City.  I actually lived with them for a time while I was in between living situations.  Then all these years later when I was looking for a new roommate and she was looking for a new place, we re-connected, and have had many fun times watching reality TV, adopting Sugar, bemoaning weight issues, and spending inebriated late nights with friends.  Like the way that the lives of the characters in the “Tales of the City” series keep intersecting, it’s interesting that we ended up living together after so many years, and I hope that she’ll be happy in this next chapter of her life.

As for me, it’s all about scrubbing the house down to its consummate core, and making sure it stays that way.  I’m a bit nervous in the number of For Rent signs I see all around the City, but hoping that someone good will be brought my way.  While I’ve never had trouble getting roommate responses in the past, with the economy in such a state, one can only wonder.
